A story of Wood

Laurel & Wood was founded by John Heuchan in 2020 after training as a designer and maker of bespoke furniture and cabinetry at The Chippendale International School of Furniture.

 

Following  a degree in Construction Project Management, John decided to follow a desire for working with his hands, combining a knowledge of project management and a passion for creativity to design and make exquisite handcrafted furniture.

Our aim is simple, to create beautiful furniture that will last a lifetime. Every piece is designed and handmade to the specifications of the client in our workshop in East Lothian.
